  • Technical Data: Anonymized IP addresses (hashed at the request level to prevent tracing back to individual users), user agent strings, and approximate geographic location (country-level) derived from the IP.

We do NOT collect:

  • Credit card details or financial payment information (all candidate services are 100% free).
  • Government identification details, passport numbers, or biometric records.

Your data is stored on secure hosting servers. CV details and profile information are protected behind authorization middlewares. We utilize standard SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions. We never sell, lease, or rent your personal information to third-party brokers.

5. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted partners to run specific functions. These third parties have access to limited data only to perform services on our behalf:

  • Google AdSense: Serves context-appropriate advertisements. AdSense may use cookies to customize ads. You can disable non-essential cookies via our Cookie Preferences banner.
  • AI Providers (Google Gemini & Groq): Used to evaluate job postings and write CV summaries. We only send job text and user-provided professional descriptions to these providers. No database system credentials or raw passwords are shared.
  • Transactional Email Handlers: Delivers mail alerts, welcome reports, and digests.

You have full control over your personal data on TontonAfriJobs. Your rights include:

  • Access & Export: You can request a complete copy of all data we store about your profile.
  • Correction: You can edit your name, contact details, and resume segments at any time via the Dashboard.
  • Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your account from your Profile page, which permanently erases your saved jobs, alerts, and CV files from our database.
