1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TontonAfriJobs (the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the Platform. These terms represent a legal agreement between you and Enyong Carinton / Tonton Business Digital Agency.

2. Description of Service

TontonAfriJobs is a free job board aggregator and CV formatting helper designed to assist African professionals. We index remote, hybrid, and visa-sponsored roles from various public job sources, passing them through an initial automated verification layer. TontonAfriJobs does not hire candidates directly, represent any third-party employer, or guarantee employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts & Security

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to register an account.
  • You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information when setting up your candidate profile.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity occurring under your account is your sole responsibility.

4. Acceptable Use Guidelines

When using the Platform, you agree NOT to:

  • Harvest, scrape, crawl, or extract job descriptions or candidate data using automated scripts or scrapers without written permission.
  • Submit false information, fake qualifications, or deceptive experience entries.
  • Use our AI CV builder tool in a way that attempts to overload, spam, or bypass standard request throttles.
  • Create multiple, duplicative accounts to bypass daily AI CV generation guidelines.

5. Job Listings & Third-Party Platforms

Most job listings on TontonAfriJobs are fetched from external platforms (e.g. RemoteOK, Remotive, Himalayas) and index locations outside Africa. While we make reasonable attempts to verify eligibility for African remote candidates or check for sponsorship markers, we cannot promise that the third-party job description is accurate, currently active, or that the employer will respond to your submission. Candidates are strongly encouraged to perform their own due diligence before submitting applications.

6. AI-Tailored CV Builder

The CV formatting helper uses Google Gemini, Groq, and Cloudflare AI models to customize resumes to match job descriptions. AI systems can produce errors (hallucinations) or formatting issues. You must review, cross-check, and authorize the final text of any resume before sending it to a potential employer. TontonAfriJobs holds no liability for failed job applications due to errors in AI-generated resumes.

7. Intellectual Property

The code structure, visual branding, custom logos, helper services, and writing on TontonAfriJobs are the property of Enyong Carinton / Tonton Business Digital Agency. Aggregated job description texts and company logos remain the copyright of their respective original owners and source networks.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Buea, South West Region, Cameroon.
